The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lyons man following an investigation into a domestic incident.
Jamie Downing, 28, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, as well as harassment.
He’s accused of slapping an ex-girlfriend in the side of the face during a verbal altercation.
Downing is said to have violated an active court order in the process.
He was processed at the Wayne County Jail.
