The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office provided an update on a crash involving a tractor-trailer in the town of Gorham a little after 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Deputies say David Parish, 42, of Penn Yan was traveling north on Twitchell Road when he went off the east side of the road, causing the trailer to rollover.
As result of the crash Parish suffered hip and neck injuries. He was transported to Thompson Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
At this point, deputies say Parish is in stable condition and his injuries are not life threatening.
Due to the crash, DEC was contacted as diesel fuel and cargo spilled.
Deputies say the driver may have been distracted at the time of the wreck.
