Prosecutors say North Hornell man hid hundreds of thousands in tax evasion case

A North Hornell man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on a number of counts related to filing a false tax return.

Justin Terwilliger, 40, had hundreds-of-thousands in taxable income between 2013 and 2017, but reported little to none.

Prosecutors say his income broke down as follows:

  • 2013: $125,000
  • 2014: $190,000
  • 2015: $201,000
  • 2016: $185,000
  • 2017: $249,000

He was arraigned and being held on a separate state sentence.
