On Wednesday around 12:16 a.m. police were called to North Main Street in the city of Geneva for a disturbance involving a long gun.
When officers arrived, they learned that two males had fled the scene, and had previously been engaged in a confrontation with one female victim.
Police say one male pointed a loaded shotgun at the chest of the woman and threatened to shoot her. The other male allegedly threw a large piece of concrete at the female – striking her, which caused injury.
Both individuals were located at a residence on North Genesee Street and taken into custody.
Police say a search warrant was executed at the property, and two firearms were located.
Investigators classified the ordeal in a press release as the result of a domestic incident. The extent of the victims injuries was not released.
Anthony Parker, 32, of Canandaigua was charged with second-degree assault, a felony charge. Darnell Parker, 23, of Geneva was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree menacing.
Both were held pending CAP proceedings.
