Is it time to start thinking about the flu shot?
Health professionals say that the flu shot will be even more important this year, as flu season works with what could time out to be a second wave of the Novel Coronavirus.
As doctors brace for illnesses with similar symptoms – it could overwhelm hospitals if the viruses spread at the same time.

Because they’re respiratory viruses, we need to continue to do this and remain vigilant so we can limit the spread of either virus come the fall,” said Dr. Maryrose Laguio-Vila, speaking with 13WHAM. She’s an infectious disease physician with Rochester Regional Health.
