Hemlock man hospitalized with head, back injuries after dirt bike crash in Ontario County

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that one person was sent to Strong Memorial Hospital following a dirt bike crash on Sunday.

Richmond Fire Department, Richmond Ambulance, and deputies responded to the area of 9133 State Route 20A in the town of Richmond for the crash.

While Caleb Beeley, 22, of Hemlock was operating his dirt bike on the property he traveled over an embankment and crashed onto Route 20A.

Deputies say Beeley suffered injuries to his back and head and was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by Richmond Ambulance. Emergency services shut down Route 20A from Curtis Road to Big Tree Road for approximately an hour while the crash was investigated.

Beeley was issued a citation for not wearing a helmet. Deputies say he’s listed in stable condition at Strong Memorial Hospital as of a press release late-Monday.
