Cayuga County plans to stop releasing COVID-19 testing data

Officials in Cayuga County say the Health Department will not release testing data as the fight against COVID-19 continues.

Counties like Cayuga have been releasing daily situational updates. Those updates have included the number of test results received. Now, that’s changing.

According to the Auburn Citizen, Cayuga County will stop releasing that data as part of its daily update.

On Monday, there was only one new confirmed case of COVID-19.
