Cuomo will sign executive order allowing businesses to kick out those who don’t wear a mask

Governor Andrew Cuomo will sign an executive order allowing businesses to refuse customers who do not wear a mask or face covering.

That announcement came on Thursday, which will surely draw more criticism from those who have already voiced frustration with the masking mandate.

Cuomo emphasized that there needs to be more education on the availability and importance of things like testing, healthcare, PPE, and social distancing practices.

“You don’t have the right to expose a store owner to the virus,” Cuomo said during his press briefing. The state continued its downward trend across all categories, which includes positive cases, and new hospitalizations.
