The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending COVID-19 vaccines for children and toddlers.
The final group without available COVID-19 shots now has one, as infants and those under 5 years of age are eligible.
CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky gave the final sign-off on the shots after health advisors gave approval over the weekend.
Both Pfizer and Moderna shots were approved for those under 5 years old.
The vaccine is still not approved in infants under 6 months.
The dosage is one-tenth the adult dose, according to health officials.
