Police: Canandaigua man charged with felony DWI, operating without license after stop on Niagara Street

The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of a 59-year-old on a number of charges – including a felony count of DWI following a traffic stop on Niagara Street.

Misael Gonzalez Perez, 59, of Canandaigua were charged with felony DWI, operating with a BAC over .18%, unlicensed operating, standing on roadway, and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Pursuant to the investigation, it was determined that Gonzalez Perez was intoxicated and also had a previous conviction for DWI in the previous 10 years.

Gonzalez Perez was subsequently arrested and issued an appearance ticket to appear in the City of Canandaigua Court at a later date.
