On Tuesday around 11:40 a.m. deputies and the Stanely Fire Department responded to State Route 14A in the town of Geneva for a tractor-trailer rollover.
When first responders arrived on-scene it was found that the driver failed to navigate a curve in the roadway and overturned.
Upon investigation, the operator – identified as Douglas Proctor, 42, of Tennessee, was still inside the truck. First responders were able to help him out of the rig without injury.
Red’s Auto Works towing along with Metal Recovery assisted in moving the truck and trailer out of the road, according to deputies.
They say Route 14A and Leet Road were both closed for approximately one hour, as emergency crews investigated and cleared the scene.
Proctor was cited for unsafe speed around a curve, according to deputies.
