Governor Andrew Cuomo has extended parts of NY on PAUSE through May 28th.
While the Finger Lakes, Southern Tier, and Central New York were both cleared to begin reopening – it only includes ‘Phase 1’ businesses, which effectively includes manufacturing and construction.
The parts of NY on PAUSE that were extended throughout the state include:
– Non-essential gatherings of all kinds, including parties, celebrations, and social events;
– Social distancing of at least six feet indoors and outdoors; and
– Limiting the use of public transportation to essential trips.
There was an uptick in traffic observed throughout the region during the morning commute in the Finger Lakes.
