On Saturday, Governor Andrew Cuomo said that an antibody survey of more than 15,000 New Yorkers determined that coronavirus cases are mostly around the New York City area.
Cuomo said Western New York saw the highest percentage of confirmed antibody counts showing 6%. Compare that to New York City, where 19.9% had antibodies.
Across the state, it brought the total to 12.3%, according to Governor Cuomo.
He also indicated that numbers of cases continues to decline, down the trend line that most expected. The data will be part of, but not the only consideration, as the state looks at reopening less essential parts of the economy.
