RIT freshman forward Andrew Rinaldi (Pierrefonds, Quebec/Wellington Dukes) scored his 10th goal of the season, but it was host Niagara taking the 4-1 victory in Atlantic Hockey action, Friday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Niagara scored the lone goal of the first period after junior forward Jack Billings converted a Tiger neutral zone turnover into a 1-0 lead with 12:14 on the clock.
The Purple Eagles took a 2-0 lead 1:35 into the second period after sophomore forward Jon Hill scored on a left-wing rush.
Rinaldi took a feed from senior defenseman Darren Brady (Lake Orion, MI/New Jersey Titans) at the top of the right face-off circle and spun around to score on a wrist shot through a crowd with 13:26 left in the second period.
