The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that around 7 a.m. on Tuesday deputies were dispatched to a two-car personal injury crash along Lake to Lake Road near State Route 247 in Gorham.
First responders from Hopewell and Middlesex also responded to the scene.
Investigators determine tat Joshua Burnett, 29, of Middlesex was traveling east on Lake to Lake Road driving a dump truck and failed to yield the right of way to Brian Dayton, 50, of Honeoye.
Dayton was traveling north on Route 247 and collided with the dump truck.
Dayton was transported by Middlesex Ambulance to Thompson Hospital with foot, hip, back, and neck injuries.s
Burnett was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way. Dayton was also ticketed for having a suspended registration, according to deputies.
Both will appear in Gorham Town court at a later date.
