A 21-year-old Auburn man is accused of forcibly raping a 16-year-old girl, and now he’s being held on felony charges.
Jonathan Moore, 21, of Auburn was charged with two counts of criminal sex act, and one count of rape in the third degree.
Moore is accused of using ‘physical force’ to make the victim perform sexual acts. He was arrested on Foote Street in Auburn after a warrant was issued last week.
Police told the Auburn Citizen that the victim visited the suspect’s home after an online relationship had been established.
That’s when the alleged attack occurred.
He was held on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond.
