Police: Seneca Falls woman arrested on felony charge after threatening person with weapon

Police say a Seneca Falls woman was arrested following a neighbor dispute on Wednesday.

Around 2:43 p.m. police arrested Alisha Simmons, 38, of Seneca Falls following investigation of that disturbance.

When officers arrived, the victim told police that Simmons displayed a martial arts weapon in a threatening manner, placing the victim in fear of physical injury.

Police say Simmons was taken into custody without incident – but charged with menacing in the second degree. She was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon due to a prior conviction, which elevated it to a felony charge.

Simmons was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
