W-FL Friday: Cara Walker scores 1,000th point in win over Wayne; Honeoye boys win 7th straight

It was a jam-packed Friday night across the Wayne-Finger Lakes girls and boys basketball leagues. There were 13 boys games and 7 girls games.

On the girls side, the Midlakes Screaming Eagles won their tenth game of the season after defeating the Wayne Eagles by 20 points. Cara Walker, a Junior at Midlakes, scored her 1,000th point of her high school career. Walker needed 24 points to reach 1,000 and she finished with 27.

On the boys side, the Honeoye Bulldogs picked up a five-point win over the South Seneca Falcons. With the win, the Bulldogs have now won seven straight games.
