There were seven Wayne-Finger Lakes boys games and four girls games on Monday night.
On the boys side, the York Knights went on the road and took down the Red Jacket Indians by three points to hand them their first loss of the season. The Indians outscored the Knights 17-11 in the fourth quarter and had a chance at tying the game with just seconds to go, but Matt Record’s shot missed off the back of the rim. Record finished with a team-high 25 points for Red Jacket. Riley Stella scored a game-high 26 points for York.
On the girls side, the Romulus Warriors defeated the Hammondsport Lakers behind Kyaira Woody’s huge game. She scored 32 of the Warrior’s 53 points.
