Officials in Auburn want to see a traffic study before they take action on a proposed bottle redemption center on Lexington Avenue and Genesee Street.
The Auburn Citizen reports that the city’s ZBA unanimously decided to postpone any action until the study was completed.
A drive-through redemption center has been proposed for the location at 6 Lexington Avenue.
Anthony Tardibone says the center would also sell non-alcoholic beverages. There would be no walk-in store at the location.
The next possible date for a vote would be February 24th.
