Deputies: Palmyra man broke into ex-girlfriend’s home, threatened to kill her

A Palmyra man was taken into custody after threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend, and physically forcing entry into her home.

Deputies arrested Jacob Daskiewich, 24, of Palmyra for first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree menacing, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, criminal obstruction of breathing, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration.

The arrest stems from a Domestic incident that occurred on Main Street in the Village of Palmyra on Tuesday. It’s alleged that Daskiewich forced his way into the home of an ex-girlfriend who had a stay away order of protection.

Once inside, he placed his hand over her mouth and nose and said he was going to kill her. When deputies attempted to take him into custody – he physically fought with them.

Daskiewich was transported to the Wayne County Jail pending arraignment. He will appear in court again on February 4th.
