Police: Ovid man charged with aggravated harassment after warrants discovered during traffic stop

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of Christopher Clemenson, 37, of Ovid following a traffic stop on Cayuga Street.

Police stopped Clemenson for a traffic violation. During that stop it was discovered that he had two active warrants for his arrest in Seneca Falls Town Court.

The first warrant was issued following a threat Clemenson made over the phone to another person, police say. The second followed a physical fight that happened. Both incidents occurred in 2019, according to police.

He was charged with one count of aggravated harassment, and harassment. The charges will be answered in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
