There was a full slate of Wayne-Finger Lakes basketball games on Tuesday night.
On the girls side, the biggest game of the night featured the Lyons Lions and the East Rochester Bombers. This game meant a lot because they are currently the top two teams in the Wayne County standings. Imani Harder scored a game-high 25 points to help lead Lyons to their seventh consecutive victory. With the win, Lyons improves to 8-2 while East Rochester drops to 9-2.
Also on the girls side, the Marcus Whitman Wildcats defeated the Red Jacket Indians by 10 points.
On the boys side, the Waterloo Indians took down the Newark Reds. This was just a two-point game at half time and at the end of the third quarter, but the Indians pulled away in the fourth quarter to pick up a home win. Waterloo’s Julian Ruiz led all scorers with 25 points. You can watch a replay of the game under the game score below.
