Earlier this week Canandaigua Mayor Bob Palumbo was sworn-in to office.
The Republican defeated longtime Mayor Ellen Polimeni in November’s general election.
He started serving on city council, which prepared him for his run for mayor.
One of his biggest goals is to increase transportation in downtown Canandaigua. City Council will hold an organizational meeting this upcoming week.
