Officials in Macedon say the man who was elected to succeed Town Supervisor Sandy Pagano in January 2020 died suddenly this week.
The Macedon Town Clerk’s office has confirmed that Supervisor-elect Paul Kenyon died on Wednesday. He was battling lung cancer, according to officials.
Kenyon had served as deputy supervisor before being elected as supervisor in November.
It’s unclear how soon a special election would be held to fill the position.
