Monday was an exciting day for the Arc of Schuyler as they celebrated the completion of their Transformation 2020 Capital Campaign project.
The Arc of Schuyler is thrilled to announce the success of their Transformation 2020 Capital Campaign Project. Which includes, their Glen CoPack Facility and their Neighborhood Center.
“In November of 2018, we launched the Arc’s first Capital Campaign. Our goal was $1.75 million and we raised $1.68 million in a years time,” says Margaret Lawrence, a board member and co-chair for the Capital Campaign.
Lawrence says the money has helped to support the expansion of two buildings and a training program that helps people with and without disabilities.
“This space that we’re in here currently is our day hab space, which then you get up closer, where you’ll see there’s a wall. This is actually a certified space from New York State. Half is for people with disabilities, where we operate Monday through Friday at day hab. The neighborhood center is really going to be more open space for meetings,” says Sean Eagen, the Executive Director for the Arc of Schuyler.
