State Police and MADD team up to urge drivers not to drink over Labor Day weekend

As Labor Day weekend approaches, State police and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) are teaming up to remind drivers about the dangers of drinking and driving.

Francis Huff was injured in January of 2012 when a drunk driver hit her while she was riding a bike and fled the scene.

On Thursday she told her story, hoping it would deter drunk drivers before they figured it out on their own.

“It just makes me angry that it takes this type of situation for someone to understand what the dangers are of drinking and driving,” said Huff.
