A Wayne County man is facing charges after allegedly having sexual contact with a minor.
David Deberger, 53, has been charged with criminal sex act and endangering the welfare of a child.
Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies allege Deberger had oral sexual contact with the child in May.
Deputies say the child notified a Sheriff’s Office school resource officer. An investigation was launched, and DNA evidence was subsequently collected.
