A convicted felon who physically attacked a woman last July was sentenced Tuesday morning in Cayuga County Court to an indeterminate sentence of 2 to 4 years in prison.
Gary Hamm, 30, of Auburn, admitted April 24 to attacking the woman in her apartment, preventing her from dialing 911 and preventing her from leaving the apartment. Police said Hamm struck the victim and put a pillow over her face before she broke free.
