Syracuse fans should prepare themselves for the worst when the NBA Draft takes place on Thursday, at least if the final spate of expert mock drafts and lists are to be trusted.
Only one nationally recognized expert, The Athletic’s Sam Vecenie, put either Tyus Battle or Oshae Brissett in a position to be drafted.
Vecenie ranked Brissett as the No. 60 prospect available in the draft on his final Big Board. There are 60 players selected in the draft. Tyus Battle came in at No. 72. ESPN‘s Jonathan Givony also ranked his Top-100 prospects and was more pessimistic, placing Brissett at No. 79 and Battle at No. 82. CBS Sports’ Kyle Boone listed Battle at No. 78 and Brissett at No. 102.
