The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Marion teen following an investigation into a crash in the Town of Williamson on June 2nd.
Deputies charged Alex J. Cantwell, 18, for driving while ability impaired by drugs, and ticketed him on several other charges following a crash on State Route 21.
After the crash Cantwell was transported to Rochester General Hospital. A blood sample was obtained and drugs were detected, according to deputies.
He was also ticketed for reckless driving, speeding, and moving from lane unsafely. Cantwell was released on traffic tickets.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
