Lodi woman arrested following welfare fraud investigation

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lodi resident following a welfare fraud investigation.

Investigators say that Paulette C. Likoudis, 61, of Lodi was charged with three counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing; one count of misuse of food stamps; and one count of welfare fraud.

She’s accused of failing to report household income, resulting in a monetary benefit exceeding the standard limit. The misreporting continued over the course of 18 months, according to deputies.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
