Troopers were called to a reported assault on William Street in Lyons Saturday night – and they found a man who had been stabbed multiple times.
The incident involved 5-10 people, according to the Times of Wayne County.
Troopers said that Shawn Baker, 32, of Galen was stabbed several times. He was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital. Baker is in satisfactory condition at this time after undergoing several surgeries.
Khalif B. Foster, 18, of Lyons reportedly used two 12-inch kitchen knives in the attack, according to the Times of Wayne County. He was charged with first-degree assault, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Troopers report that Baker also displayed a knife during the incident.
The investigation remains active.
