Not a single audience member asked questions at the 2019-20 Auburn school budget hearing Tuesday.
More than 10 members of the public attended the budget hearing at Auburn High School's library. Community members will be able to vote on the budget May 21. The district is set for a proposed 2.23% tax levy increase, compliant with the district's tax cap established by the state. The overall proposed spending amount would come to $78,930,561, which accounts for a 3.3% year-to-year bump.
