Woodstock 50 organizer details tickets, camping, crowd control plans

More details about Woodstock 50 tickets, camping and crowd control plans have emerged for this summers mega-festival in Watkins Glen.

The Elmira Star-Gazette reports Woodstock founder and 50th anniversary organizer Michael Lang met with area residents last week to address concerns about the crowd and setup for the three-day music event, scheduled for Aug. 16-18, 2019, around Watkins Glen International raceway. More than 80 performers are scheduled, including original Woodstock artists like Santana and John Fogerty and newer acts like Jay-Z, Miley Cyrus, The Killers, Halsey, Jack White’s The Raconteurs, and the Dead and Company (featuring members of The Grateful Dead).
