Families can pick up free emergency preparedness resources and go-bag kits at Wood Library in Canandaigua on Monday, Nov. 9.
The United We Prepare Emergency Preparedness Fair will run from 1 to 3 p.m. at the library, 134 N. Main St., according to an event flyer from United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes.
United Way is organizing the event with support from Verizon and in partnership with Ontario County. The flyer also identifies the county's emergency management and Office for the Aging among the partners.
The fair is intended to help families prepare for emergencies and stay safe, with free resources and kits available during the afternoon event.
