Another national news program is set to spotlight the murder of a Corning woman at the hands of her ex-husband.
Lloyd Neurauter pleaded guilty last October in Steuben County Court to charges of first-degree murder, first-degree custodial interference and second-degree conspiracy for the August 2017 strangulation death of his ex-wife Michele.
Neurauter conspired with his daughter Karrie Neurauter, who was 19 at the time, and strangled Michele before staging her death to look like a suicide, said Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker.
Karrie Neurauter was a student at Rochester Institute of Technology majoring in computer engineering technology.
The case, featured last November on NBC's "Dateline," will be re-examined Saturday on the CBS news magazine "48 Hours."
Correspondent Erin Moriarty and the "48 Hours" crew will explore how one parent in a bitter custody battle swayed a teenager to help murder the other parent.
