Geneva Police are expected to provide an update on Monday following an incident, which left a large window pane shattered at a Seneca Street business.
The business impacted was the ‘Geneva Tailor’, which is located a few doors up Seneca Street from Parkers Grille.
Witnesses say the incident involved students and non-students along Seneca Street and began between Parkers and the Geneva Tailor storefronts.
While law enforcement did not provide an official update on Saturday, Sergeant Jeffrey Kyser, with the Geneva Police Department said an active investigation is underway.
He expected an update – in form of press release – to be provided to the media on Monday. Kyser did not confirm any details associated with the alleged incident.
Despite the damage, the store remained open on Saturday. A “We’re Open” sign could be seen from the street, nailed to the boarded up window panel.
