Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck says three people were charged after a stabbing along Dublin Hill Road in Ledyard on Friday.

The victim was reportedly beaten and stabbed several times. Deputies were dispatched to the scene along with State Police. Upon arrival – the victim was transported to Auburn Community Hospital – then to University Hospital in Syracuse.
With assistance of State Police and the Auburn Police Department – two suspects were stopped in a vehicle in the city of Auburn related to the violent incident.
Mia Loiacono, 21, of Weedsport, and Dijon Starling-Harvey, 19, of Cayuga were taken into custody without incident. A third suspect, identified as William Vest, 28, of Auburn was also taken Tinto custody.
Schenck reports that all three were charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree assault. They’re being held in lieu of bail.
