The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a farming accident that occurred on Dolphsburg Road in the Town of Hector on Wednesday.
Deputies say around 8:47 a.m. Jay E. Arcangeli, 51, Burdett was involved in a farming accident.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Schuyler County Coroner’s office after becoming entangled in a power take-off unit.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Burdett Fire and Rescue and Schuyler Ambulance.
