Sharon L Mason, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2026.
Sharon was born on Saturday, November 4, 1944, in Clifton Springs, NY, the daughter of the late Carl and Olivia (Knaus) Stambach. She spent her life in the area and attended Red Jacket Schools.
Never one to sit still, Sharon was a hardworking and dedicated woman who spent 40 years as a bus driver for the Red Jacket School District before retiring. She also worked as a hairdresser. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren and had a special interest in listening to the police and fire scanner, often heading out to see where the action was. She also loved her coffee and enjoyed spending time at the Talk of the Town Café, where she was a familiar face. Above all, Sharon cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her so much joy.
Sharon will be remembered by her husband, Hale Mason; her children, Jon Lohr, Roxanne (Allan) Button and Mark (Kathleen) Lohr; loving grandchildren, Tracy (Brad) Palermo, Justin Lohr, Chris Lohr, Tyler (Jordyn Chappelle) Button, Dominic (Madi Mancine) Commisso, Hunter (Catie McGuey) Commisso, Josh Johncox, Olivia (John) Yacono, Ella Lohr great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Jayden, Brenden, Ivy, and Dawson; several nieces and nephews

Sharon was predeceased by her siblings, Patricia Moyer, Nancy Perry, Carol WIlliams, her twin, Sandra Pritchard.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life, with the date and time to be announced at a later date. Burial will be held privately at Brookside Cemetery.
