Mary was born on Friday, December 8, 1944, in Clifton Springs, NY, the daughter of the late John and Ann (Barco) Corino. A lifelong resident of Manchester, she grew up helping out at her family's Italian General Store and Gas station below their home on State Street. She graduated from Manchester High School in 1962, where she met the love of her life, Bruce. Together for over 40 years, they built a beautiful life and family together. Their love was evident in the way they cared for one another, stood by each other, and navigated life side by side.

Mary proudly earned an accounting degree from RBI and initially put it to use working as an accountant. However, what was meant to be a temporary summer job at the local Steak-Out turned into something much more meaningful. Mary stayed for more than 30 years, finding not just a job, but a second family in the coworkers she grew so close to and the loyal patrons she adored. It was the relationships, friendships, and sense of community she built along the way that made Steak-Out so much more than a workplace to Mary.

Above all else, Mary was born to be a mother and, eventually, a grandmother. Caring for others came naturally to her and was truly at the heart of who she was. She had a gentle, nurturing spirit and a generous heart, always putting the needs of others before her own and giving far more than she ever expected in return. Mary had a special way of making everyone feel loved, valued, and important. She was thoughtful and attentive, always taking the time to listen and making those around her feel as though they were the only person in the room. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends touched countless lives.
