Adults can look for migrating and year-round birds during a free guided walk at Sandy Bottom Park on Saturday, Nov. 14.
Bill Howe will lead the outing from 9 to 10:30 a.m., according to a notice shared by the Town of Richmond.
Participants will meet at the kiosk by the gated entrance at the park's main parking lot. The walk will cover up to a mile on flat terrain.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Binoculars are optional, and no preregistration is required.
The outing will take place in light rain, light snow or sunshine. AARP and Friends of Sandy Bottom are sponsoring the walk.
