The Syracuse Crunch will hold Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Saturday, Nov. 28, when they host the Laval Rocket at 7 p.m.
The event will benefit Upstate Cancer Center, according to the team’s announcement. Players will wear white jerseys with lavender and purple stripes that will be auctioned on the ice after the game.
Fans can fill out “I Fight For” signs at Guest Services and add them to a display honoring people affected by cancer.
The Crunch will also dedicate two dasherboards to names submitted by fans. Submissions through the online form linked in the team’s announcement are due by noon Nov. 13.
A portion of proceeds from the team’s GiveSmart auction will support Upstate Cancer Center. Fans can participate by texting CRUNCH to 76278.
Tickets are available at the Crunch office, 800 S. State St., by calling 315-473-4444 or through Ticketmaster.
