Rep. Nick Langworthy and Republican gubernatorial nominee Bruce Blakeman plan five get-out-the-vote rallies across the Southern Tier on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
The “Fire Hochul” tour will run from Owego to Lakewood as the candidates campaign ahead of Election Day, according to an advisory from Langworthy for Congress.
Blakeman, the Nassau County executive, is campaigning to unseat Gov. Kathy Hochul. The campaign said the tour is intended to mobilize voters.
The first stop is scheduled for 9 a.m. at the Owego Elks Lodge, 223 Front St. in Owego.
A 10:30 a.m. stop is planned at the Elmira Elks Lodge, 300 E. Gray St. in Elmira.
The candidates are scheduled to visit Hornell VFW Mooney Post 2250, 245 Canisteo St. in Hornell, at 1 p.m.
The tour then moves to the Olean Elks Lodge, 209 W. State St. in Olean, for a 2:30 p.m. rally.
The final stop is scheduled for 4 p.m. at American Legion Post 1286, 174 Chautauqua Ave. in Lakewood.
