A Canandaigua man was arrested Saturday after an investigation into extensive damage to a room at a Victor hotel, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Peter Nichiporuk, 47, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief.
Deputies took Nichiporuk into custody at about 12:37 p.m. at Homewood Suites, 575 Fishers Station Drive in Victor.
Investigators accused him of intentionally causing $19,240 in damage to the hotel room and its contents.
Nichiporuk was taken to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
