Victor Town Board to weigh 2027 budget, proposed storage container law Monday

The Victor Town Board will consider adopting its 2027 budget Monday night while holding public hearings on proposed regulations for portable storage containers and the town’s 2026 special assessment roll.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Victor Town Hall, following a 6 p.m. executive session. Three public hearings are on the agenda, with votes on the budget and assessment rolls scheduled for later in the meeting.

The proposed 2027 budget will be among the most consequential items before the board. Residents will have an opportunity to comment on the spending plan before members consider its adoption. The agenda does not include proposed spending totals, tax rates or details about changes from the current year’s budget.

A separate public hearing will focus on a proposed local law governing portable storage containers. The town is considering changes to its code, although the agenda does not specify what restrictions or requirements would be established.

Other business includes consideration of design and construction standards, although specific changes are not outlined in the agenda.

The board is also scheduled to consider a letter of credit release associated with the Norbut Solar Farm and an escrow release involving Scout Path. Both appear under the town clerk’s action items, along with a correction to a 2025 payment manifest.

Town officials will provide a highway report, and residents will have opportunities to address the board during public comment periods.
