Geneva man accused of contacting protected person about 72 times

A Geneva man was arrested Oct. 19 on a first-degree criminal contempt warrant after a domestic incident, according to the City of Geneva Police Department.

Kieran Jackson, 32, is accused of violating a stay-away order of protection by contacting the protected person about 72 separate times.

Police identified Exchange Street as the arrest location and said Jackson has a prior felony conviction.

He was processed at the Geneva Police Department and taken to centralized arraignment court, where he was issued a stay-away order of protection.

Police said Jackson remained in jail pending his next court date, with additional charges pending.

Officer Walter Quintanilla handled the arrest.
