The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office recognized K-9 fundraiser supporter Sean Fico and received its corrections reaccreditation certificate at Tuesday’s county Board of Supervisors meeting.
Fico, owner of AP Enterprises and the Ontario Golf Club, was honored for supporting the office’s K-9 Golf Fundraiser, according to the sheriff’s office.
Peter Kehoe, executive director of the New York State Sheriffs’ Association, presented the corrections reaccreditation certificate.
The sheriff’s office said the reaccreditation recognizes its continued adherence to corrections best practices and the association’s professional standards.
The office credited Sgt. Richard Morrison, Corrections Officer Lyndsi Wernert and Maj. James Miller for their work toward the reaccreditation.
