Five forest ranger instructors worked with 22 rangers on technical rope rescues Oct. 8 in the Chapel Pond area near Keene Valley.
The Essex County training took place at the Beer Walls, according to the Department of Environmental Conservation’s report, released Thursday.
Rangers scaled the cliffs while practicing the rope techniques used in technical rescue work.
